This class begins with a grounding meditation and mindful breath work to center the body and calm the mind, creating a safe space for all participants. From there, we’ll transition into a gentle flow that focuses on connecting movement with breath, offering a nurturing and supportive practice suitable for all levels.

Designed with a trauma-informed approach, Fierce & Free Flow encourages participants to move at their own pace, honoring where they are in their journey. The class combines gentle, flowing sequences with moments of stillness, allowing for deep relaxation, self-reflection, and the opportunity to reconnect with inner strength.

Gentle Yoga is a low impact Hatha Yoga class. It’s the perfect first class for beginners, if you’re practicing with an injury or a health concern, or if you need a slow, mindful practice to rest, recover and invite calm and presence into your day. Gentle Yoga will give you opportunities to adapt poses to your needs and to deeply observe the effect of the poses on your breath. Essential oils will be offered as a complement to a long, meditative Savasana relaxation at the end of class.

Intro to Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini yoga is an energetic practice of powerful breath and sustained movements to awaken the spinal energy from the base or root of the spine all the way through the crown of the head. Each kriya or sequence has a specific energetic intention. It is yoga for everyone and for any level of practice. The challenge of the poses comes not through physicality, but through pushing through your own perceived limitations, which is all an illusion anyway.  Just limiting beliefs you were conditioned to believe, and the kundalini kriyas were designed to bring you back to the root of those limiting beliefs… and let them go… so you can be the perfect authentic YOU.

We will move through a traditional kundalini practice beginning with the adi mantra tune-in, then a spinal warm-up, the kriya, svasana to integrate the experience, and ending with mantra meditation.
