About me
My name is Alexis and I am passionate about yoga and dedicated to sharing its transformative power with others. With a 200-hour certification as a RYT, I have developed a strong foundation in teaching various styles, including Hatha and Vinyasa. My teaching experience includes leading classes of various skill levels and Yoga and Journaling workshops with friends, where I have honed my ability to adapt poses to accommodate students of all levels.
One of my strengths is creating a welcoming and inclusive environment through active listening. I pride myself on connecting with my students, encouraging them to explore their practice without fear of judgment. My classes often incorporate mindfulness and breathwork, enhancing the overall experience and promoting holistic well-being.
I am committed to fostering a sense of community. I organized and executed a journal and yoga workshop in October, helping to build connections among yoga students. I believe that yoga is not just about poses; it’s about creating a community.
In addition, my own yoga journey has taught me resilience, play and self-awareness, qualities I strive to bring out in my classes. I am eager to bring my passion of managing a team, my RYT-200 yoga training, and commitment to your studio's goals with me and in turn, create a space that teachers inspire their students to find balance and adventure on and off the mat.
